Disclaimer

1. Housane is a platform, not a contractor

Housane is an online directory and referral platform. We do not perform, supervise or guarantee any home services. Pros listed on Housane are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. Any agreement for work is only between you and the Pro.

2. Listing information

Listing details, including services, prices, hours, service areas, licenses and insurance, are provided by Pros or collected from public sources, and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any listing.

3. Badges and rankings

Housane Verified means we reviewed certain records on the date of review, as described on the Verified page. It is not a background check, a guarantee of work quality or an endorsement. Rankings and featured placements may reflect paid plans and other factors described in our Pro Terms.

4. Reviews

Reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them, not Housane. We work to keep fake reviews off the site, but we cannot verify every review.

5. No professional advice

Guides and articles on Housane, including our Hiring Guide, are general information and not legal, financial, safety, engineering or other professional advice. Rules differ by state and city.

6. Safety

In an emergency, such as a gas leak, fire, flooding near electricity or any immediate danger, leave the area and call 911 or your utility provider before contacting a Pro.

7. Your responsibility

Before hiring, confirm the Pro's license, insurance, references, permits and written contract. You are responsible for your decision to hire a Pro.
