Advertising Terms
The rules for ads, sponsorships and paid placements on Housane.
1. Scope
These Advertising Terms apply to anyone who buys advertising, sponsorships or banner placements on Housane ("Advertiser"). Featured Boost and plan placements for listed Pros are covered by our Pro Terms. These terms add to our Terms of Use.
2. Orders and payment
Placements, dates, markets and prices are set out in a written order or invoice from Housane. Unless the order says otherwise, fees are due in advance and are non refundable once a campaign starts. We may pause a campaign if payment is late.
3. Ad content
You are responsible for your ads and landing pages. Ads must be truthful, not misleading, and must comply with all laws, including FTC advertising rules, licensing and disclosure requirements for your industry, and fair housing and anti discrimination laws. You confirm you own or have rights to all content you provide.
4. Our review
We review every ad before it runs and may reject, edit for formatting, or remove any ad at any time, including ads for services we believe are unsafe, deceptive or competitive with Housane features. All ads are labeled as ads or sponsored content.
5. Data
We may share aggregate performance data, such as impressions and clicks. We do not sell or give advertisers the personal information of homeowners who use Housane.
6. Placement and delivery
We will make reasonable efforts to deliver placements as ordered, but we do not guarantee specific results, positions, impressions or clicks. If a placement is materially undelivered because of our error, our only obligation is to offer a make good placement or a pro rata credit.
7. Responsibility
You agree to defend and indemnify Housane against claims arising from your ads, products, services or landing pages. Our liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid for the affected campaign.
