Our commitment to a site everyone can use.
1. Our commitment
Housane wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to find and hire home service pros. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
2. What we do
- Semantic page structure, headings and labels so screen readers can navigate.
- Keyboard access to menus, forms and controls, with visible focus outlines.
- Text and color contrast chosen to meet WCAG guidelines for body text.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Respect for reduced motion settings, which turns off animation.
3. Known limits
Some content comes from third parties, such as Pro uploaded photos and descriptions, embedded tools and plugins, and may not fully meet our standards. We work with providers to improve accessibility where we can.
